Helped develop and ship Co-op Digital’s first in-house digital service. Worked with Co-op Legal Service’s existing wills team, going through alpha, beta and then launching a digital will-writing service to the public. Later trained a team of developers to take over the service, and successfully handed-off the application.

Developed both a public-facing website for generating leads for their bespoke holidays, and an internal system for their team to manage clients and their holidays. Allows the team to carry out invoicing, reporting, liaising with suppliers, and ensuring correct margins are made on sales.

My own software-as-a-service application that I built and ran for several years. It was made for petcare companies, in particular boarding kennels and catteries. It allowed them to manage their customer and pet data, take bookings, and keep on top of their everyday affairs.

Developed a membership system for the park to take recurring payments, as well as a sign-in system and public-facing website. Created in-depth reporting tools to help the park when presenting to local funding bodies.
Worked on a number of open-data projects for our clients. Included developing applications and data visualisations for local government and publicly-funded organisations. Also helped develop their open-data publishing platform, PublishMyData.
Lead development on a number Ruby on Rails applications for our clients, including Greater Manchester Chamber of Commerce, Business Growth Hub, People 1st Training, and the England Squash Association.
Worked on the website of our largest client, On The Beach. Helped rewrite the application from scratch, which at the time, was one of the largest Ruby on Rails websites in the world.
